Flutter Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Flutter Engineer to join Forest’s fast‑growing team. You will help build and improve the end‑user mobile application that thousands of London riders use daily to rent e‑bikes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain the Flutter codebase for the consumer app.
• Monitor technical metrics and user feedback to guide continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers throughout the concept, design, development and testing phases.
• Write clean, high‑quality code and ensure it meets our standards.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest mobile technologies and standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Flutter developer or 6+ years combined Android/iOS and Flutter experience.
• Proven track record of delivering mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with the mobile ecosystem, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Experience with third‑party libraries and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and fluent spoken and written English.
