IT Systems Support Officer

About the role

This fully remote position supports users of Microsoft 365 and core business applications for an international organization. The role blends hands‑on troubleshooting with systems administration, cybersecurity support, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical assistance for hardware, software, login, connectivity, permissions and user‑access issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, system access and related access‑control processes.
• Coordinate complex technical incidents with external IT providers and ensure resolution.
• Maintain accurate IT asset registers, software licensing data, system records and documentation.
• Document IT requests, changes, troubleshooting steps and outcomes.
• Assist with new system roll‑outs, software updates, workflow changes and digital form deployments.
• Test system changes and workflows before release to prevent user impact.
• Identify recurring problems and propose smarter, more efficient solutions.
• Support cybersecurity, data‑privacy and access‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or systems support.
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve technical problems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
