VP - Fixed Income Financial Research

About the role

The Vice President of Fixed Income Financial Research will lead the fundamental monitoring and analysis of financial industry companies across Latin America. Reporting to senior investment leaders, the role combines deep sector knowledge with rigorous financial modeling to support the investment process of LatAm fixed‑income strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Directly monitor industries and credit instruments under coverage, producing regular investment cases and quarterly updates for the Investment Committee.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow) and databases for covered companies and sectors.
• Analyze bond issuances, corporate events, and restructuring scenarios, communicating impacts to portfolio managers.
• Build and sustain a network of contacts with Latin American companies and the broader financial community.
• Support the sales team in client service and contribute to presentations for management committees, town‑halls, and product updates.
• Mentor junior analysts, ensuring high standards of professionalism and technical rigor throughout the investment process.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within fixed‑income research or investment.
• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory); CFA designation is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Latin American markets, financial products, and asset valuation.
• Fluent English and high analytical capability with a focus on detail and depth of analysis.
• Strategic vision and the ability to understand companies and industries in depth.
