Architect, Microsoft 365 Copilot

About the role

EPAM is looking for an Architect specialized in Microsoft 365 Copilot to define and drive AI‑powered productivity strategy across a mature M365 environment. You will create the Copilot roadmap, ensure data and governance readiness, and enable measurable adoption for both corporate and frontline teams.

Key responsibilities

• Set and evolve the strategic roadmap for Microsoft 365 Copilot adoption.
• Conduct readiness assessments to verify data, governance, and security foundations.
• Lead capability building, change management, and adoption initiatives for AI‑driven productivity tools.
• Align corporate and frontline teams around shared Copilot deployment objectives.
• Define measurement frameworks to monitor adoption and quantify business value.
• Collaborate with technology architecture and business transformation stakeholders to coordinate delivery.
• Oversee governance, security, and compliance aspects of Copilot deployment.
• Advise on licensing options and roadmap planning for Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and managing enterprise‑scale Microsoft 365 architectures.
• Proven ability to assess and prepare data, governance, and security for AI solutions.
• Strong English proficiency (B2 or higher).
• Experience working on international projects with global, diverse teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 architecture (tenant administration, Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Microsoft Graph and Semantic Index knowledge.
• Information governance tools: Microsoft Purview, sensitivity labels, DLP, retention policies, permissions models.
• Entra ID security practices: Conditional Access, access reviews, Zero Trust.
• Copilot Studio – building custom agents, plugins, connectors, GPT‑based declarative agents.
• Power Platform – Power Automate, Power Apps, dataflows, Copilot integration.
• SharePoint content architecture – taxonomy, metadata, content lifecycle management.
• Viva Suite – Viva Learning, Viva Connections, Viva Engage.
• Adoption measurement – Copilot Dashboard, Viva Insights, adoption scoring, ROI frameworks.
