Regional Business Development Lead – Stablecoin Payments

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Business Development Lead to drive the adoption of our stablecoin payment infrastructure across merchants and payment service providers in a defined market. You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract signing, and work closely with product, compliance and engineering to turn market needs into shipped capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and close deals with acquirers, aggregators, PSPs, POS providers and direct merchants.
• Structure and negotiate commercial terms, including multi‑year contracts with enterprise partners.
• Coordinate licensing, settlement and compliance requirements with legal teams.
• Provide market feedback to shape product road‑maps, checkout experiences, QR flows and settlement options.
• Design and execute activation campaigns and incentive programs to launch merchants and drive transaction volume.
• Collaborate internally with product, engineering, compliance and marketing to ensure market requirements are delivered.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, merchant acquiring, PSP or aggregator environments with a proven track record of closing deals.
• Demonstrated ability to run commercial strategy independently from pipeline generation to contract execution.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially for multi‑year agreements with enterprise merchants and intermediaries.
• Practical understanding of payment rails, QR standards and acquiring models in your market.
• Professional English and fluency in the local market language.
• Willingness to travel as required.
