Sales & Business Development Executive – Logistics

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, customer‑focused Sales & Business Development Executive to drive growth for our logistics business in Chile. The successful candidate will generate new opportunities, manage a portfolio of clients and deliver tailored supply‑chain solutions that increase revenue while supporting Blue Water’s environmental goals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing and related services.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of client relationships, understanding their supply‑chain needs and proposing customized solutions.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with overseas offices and the Chilean team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Continuously improve commercial processes, leveraging IT tools to increase efficiency.
• Support operations during implementation phases and report weekly on activities and upcoming plans.
• Promote Blue Water’s sustainability initiatives and ensure use of approved suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• More than 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation sales or commercial management.
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) and ability to work respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
• Team‑player attitude, high integrity and proven decision‑making capabilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and to visit operational sites.

Required skills

• Office 365 (intermediate proficiency).
