Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS/GCP)

About the role

Globant is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help our business partners evolve and adapt to personalized consumer expectations in a rapidly changing digital landscape. You will work with leading cloud platforms to design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Support micro‑services architectures and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Monitor cloud resources and services to ensure performance and reliability.
• Automate configuration management and operational tasks.
• Develop scripts in Python or Bash to streamline workflows.

Required profile

• Fluent English (B2 – Upper Intermediate) or higher.
• Proven experience with AWS or GCP as primary cloud providers.
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Good understanding of micro‑services, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring cloud environments.
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools.
• Ability to write scripts in Python and/or Bash.
