Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Hybrid/Remote

About the role

Apply Digital is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join its globally distributed team. The role blends SRE responsibilities with service‑desk support for multiple UK e‑commerce clients, ensuring platform reliability and smooth incident handling.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor platform health across client environments using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
• Respond to, triage, and resolve incidents following runbooks and escalation paths.
• Participate in post‑incident reviews and document postmortems.
• Support the Service Desk with technical triage, incident classification, and resolution.
• Maintain and improve observability dashboards, alerts, and SLI/SLO tracking.
• Write and keep up‑to‑date runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Identify recurring issues and propose automation or process improvements.
• Take part in an on‑call rotation covering alternating weekends.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in SRE, platform operations, or a technical Service Desk role.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across time zones.
