Solution Architect – Cloud & Security (TypeScript/Node.js, AWS)

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Architect to act as the technical authority across a portfolio of digital products built on a shared TypeScript/Node.js stack and AWS platform. You will guide architecture decisions, drive security and resilience improvements, and align multiple delivery pods with consistent technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and document the current architecture of the product portfolio, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Validate architecture decisions across delivery pods to ensure compliance with portfolio‑wide standards.
• Own the security remediation backlog, covering authentication, authorization, injection risks, secrets handling, and endpoint exposure.
• Lead resilience hardening by defining and rolling out patterns such as retries, circuit breakers, dead‑letter queues, and health checks.
• Drive cloud account separation and restrict non‑production access to reduce blast radius.
• Provide technical oversight for infrastructure‑as‑code practices and promote secure Terraform patterns.
• Guide CI/CD improvements with security scanning and delivery‑metrics instrumentation.
• Advise on event‑streaming reliability patterns for Kafka‑based consumer services.
• Run architecture walkthroughs during onboarding and act as the primary technical escalation point.

Required profile

• 2+ years of solution architecture experience in distributed systems on AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with Content Management Systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to align engineering and product leadership.
• Project leadership across multiple delivery teams or pods.
• Upper‑Intermediate English (B2) and excellent communication skills.
