Sr. Data Engineer (Snowflake)

About the role

We are looking for a senior data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that power both analytical and operational workloads. You will work closely with backend and platform teams to integrate data solutions into our cloud-native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse data sources.
• Manage and tune cloud data warehouses, primarily BigQuery, for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to define data models and enable self‑service reporting.
• Create and maintain data documentation, including dictionaries, lineage, and metadata.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure high availability of data pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and continuously improve the data infrastructure.

Required profile

• Certified SnowPro.
• 5+ years of experience building modern cloud‑based data platforms.
• Proven ability to work with distributed teams across North America and Latin America.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and delivery orientation.
• Excellent English communication skills.

• Snowflake (performance tuning, security, data modeling).
• BigQuery.
• Advanced SQL.
• Python for data processing and orchestration.
• dbt or similar analytics engineering frameworks.
• Dagster or Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
