Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish)

About the Position

Join a dynamic Primary Care Practice (PCP) dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. We are seeking a highly organized and professional Bilingual Virtual Medical Assistant to provide essential remote administrative support and ensure a seamless experience for our patients.

Main Missions

• Manage high-volume inbound calls with exceptional phone etiquette and customer service.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently.
• Manage the eClinicalWorks (eCW) inbox and incoming fax workflows.
• Process and send orders for imaging and laboratory tests.
• Assist with the prior authorization process for medications and medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth administrative operations.

Candidate Profile

• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Proven experience in a medical administrative role or similar remote setting.
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a dedicated, quiet workspace and high-level reliability.

Required Skills & Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (eCW) software (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and administrative workflows.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection with a secondary backup solution.
• Technical readiness: Computer with backup systems and a power outage contingency plan.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
