C++ Optimization Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a C++ Optimization Engineer to design and fine‑tune high‑performance algorithms for large‑scale autonomous systems. The role focuses on latency reduction, efficient resource use, and system‑wide performance tuning in mission‑critical robotics environments. This is a fully remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement low‑latency, high‑efficiency algorithms.
• Profile and analyze complex software to locate bottlenecks.
• Perform deep systems tuning and micro‑optimizations across CPU, memory, and specialized hardware.
• Optimize path‑finding, solvers, and graph‑based logic for autonomous platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate optimized components into production systems.
• Establish best practices for performance engineering, including automated benchmarking and regression testing.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on performance optimization or systems programming.
• Proven expertise in C++ development and algorithm design.
• Strong knowledge of systems tuning, memory management, threading, and hardware‑specific performance bottlenecks.
• Background in large‑scale autonomous systems or robotics environments.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
