Chemistry Expert – AI Trainer (Remote)

About the role

We are a data‑centric AI team that builds high‑quality STEM training data for cutting‑edge models. As a Chemistry Expert – AI Trainer you will create deterministic chemistry problems that are used directly in model training and evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Design challenging, real‑world chemistry problems that have a single verifiable answer.
• Develop reasoning‑intensive tasks that require deep domain knowledge and computational rigor.
• Implement problem generation and solution verification using Python and appropriate chemistry simulation or cheminformatics tools.
• Ensure all tasks are reproducible, technically precise, and fully documented.
• Write concise, rigorous technical explanations in English for each problem and its solution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
• Research or industry experience with computational or quantitative chemistry workflows.
• Strong Python programming skills and familiarity with scientific libraries.
• Solid understanding of chemical modeling, numerical methods, and logical reasoning.
• Ability to create original, difficult problems beyond textbook examples.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear technical writing.
