Clinical Site Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Site Coordinator is responsible for the operational management and clinical leadership of a hospital site on a rotational rota. The role ensures safe, efficient and smooth delivery of services, supporting multidisciplinary teams and overseeing patient care programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess care needs and plan, develop, implement and evaluate patient care programmes.
• Manage site operations including work allocation, staff deployment and supervision.
• Oversee clinical and bed management, ensuring optimal use of resources.
• Lead nursing staff during night hours and coordinate multidisciplinary team communication.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, carers and all team members to meet patient needs.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
• Educated to degree level, with postgraduate expertise in the relevant speciality.
• Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines, standards, policies and procedures.
• Specialist knowledge of conditions, pathology and relevant practice areas.
• Management qualification or equivalent experience gained through continuous professional development.
