Corporate Attorney (Chile)

About the role

Whoosh is expanding its micromobility operations across Latin America and needs a Corporate Attorney based in Chile. You will act as the primary legal advisor for the Chilean entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations while supporting commercial, operational, and corporate initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and operational matters in Chile.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Chilean laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support corporate governance processes and maintain legal documentation for local entities.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks affecting the business.
• Advise internal stakeholders on labor, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Represent the company in administrative procedures, legal proceedings, and interactions with external authorities.
• Coordinate with external law firms and legal consultants as needed.
• Develop and implement internal legal policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with regional and global legal teams on cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and a valid license to practice law in Chile.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, corporate, labor, and regulatory law in Chile.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
