Entry Level TFA FEP Mechanic

About the role

This entry‑level position is part of GE Vernova FieldCore’s Field Engineering Program (FEP). You will receive a blend of classroom and on‑the‑job training, learn from experienced Technical Field Advisors, and travel to customer sites to support industrial power‑generation equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate site activities for installation, preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of gas/steam turbine equipment.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and provide technical assistance to customer representatives.
• Prepare technical reports, job status updates, material orders, and quotations.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
• Ability to perform dial and laser alignment and use thermal growth equipment.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work on‑site at customer locations.
• Commitment to EHS policies and project‑specific procedures.
