Field Services Engineer – Chile

About the role

Join CATL Chile, the South American arm of a global leader in electric‑vehicle and energy‑storage batteries, as a Field Services Engineer. You will act as the technical bridge between overseas service stations and our customers, ensuring high‑quality after‑sales support across Chile.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and monitor system tasks for overseas service stations, overseeing product debugging, maintenance and after‑sales activities.
• Provide technical guidance and training to improve service stations’ capabilities.
• Coordinate human, technical and other resources to execute batch rectification tasks.
• Supervise and verify the accuracy and timeliness of service‑station reporting.
• Collect, organize and maintain customer files related to product markets.
• Handle emergency events on the product market side and gather competitive product information.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree or higher in chemical, environmental, electrical or energy‑related engineering.
• Familiarity with North American EV after‑sales service standards, warranty procedures, and energy‑storage safety and recycling regulations.
• Fluent English communication; ability to negotiate, draft contracts and conduct market research.
• Previous experience in the energy or automotive sector with a customer‑service focus.
• Self‑starter, team player, willing to go above and beyond.
• English speaking required; Chinese speaking a plus.
