Operations Consultant

About the role

The Operations Consultant works as a technical analyst supporting Murex clients—including banks, hedge funds, asset managers and insurers—on back‑office processes such as transaction lifecycle, settlement and collateral management. The role combines advisory, implementation and support activities within a global fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on Murex best practices for organizational modelling, transaction lifecycle, confirmation, matching, settlements, accounting, collateral and position management.
• Participate in MX.3 implementation projects: gather requirements, design solutions, configure the platform, conduct testing and support deployment.
• Provide ongoing client support, manage open issues and assist with upgrade activities.
• Communicate development needs to the Murex product development team.
• Deliver internal and external training sessions.
• Occasionally act as a functional expert during the sales process.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in technology for capital markets or banking.
• Strong academic background in technology, finance, engineering or business.
• Familiarity with the trade lifecycle of financial products; accounting knowledge is a plus.
• Systematic problem‑solver with critical thinking abilities.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
