Part‑Time Manual QA Engineer

About the role

Ostro is a fast‑growing SaaS company that provides marketing software for the pharmaceutical industry. We are looking for a methodical, detail‑oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our Implementation team on a part‑time basis (10‑20 hours per week). You will help ensure that each client deployment meets our high quality standards before launch.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Implementation team throughout the project lifecycle to verify quality of client deployments.
• Execute manual testing of the overlay tool on client pharmaceutical websites, checking functionality, display accuracy, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain test cases and test plans tailored to each client implementation.
• Document findings, track defects, and work with Implementation Managers and Configurators to reproduce and prioritize bugs.
• Validate that client‑specific configurations align with design specifications and flag discrepancies early.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software quality assurance experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in AI/ML‑based testing solutions and willingness to experiment with innovative methodologies.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take initiative without constant supervision.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, especially implementation and customer support.
