Plumbing Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Design Engineer to lead the design of plumbing and drainage systems for our portfolio of ultra‑luxury villas and boutique hotels worldwide. Reporting to the MEP Design Manager, you will work remotely and collaborate daily with architects, interior designers, structural engineers and client representatives to deliver technically precise and aesthetically integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design plumbing, drainage, supply and distribution systems in compliance with local building codes and international standards.
• Lead spatial coordination with architectural and structural models, resolve clashes and protect design intent from concept through technical completion.
• Develop detailed drawings, specifications and technical documentation using CAD and BIM tools, directing BIM modelers for accuracy.
• Perform load calculations and system sizing to ensure optimal performance under all project conditions.
• Select equipment that meets project requirements, sustainability targets and luxury standards.
• Review and approve deliverables from third‑party designers, consultants and surveyors, maintaining design integrity.
• Contribute to value‑engineering discussions, balancing cost, quality and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Design Engineer on luxury residential or hospitality projects.
• Ability to lead design efforts and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Comfort working fully remote; the role does not include visa sponsorship or relocation support.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality, aesthetically integrated solutions.
