Purchasing Analyst

About the role

Olympus is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to manage the import and purchase flow of inventory from purchase order issuance to warehouse receipt. The role supports the finance team with cost documentation and ensures smooth logistics for international shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor imports, exports, and inventory purchases.
• Prepare costing sheets and label import documentation for finance.
• Maintain the Comex Import Report and coordinate with freight forwarders for quotes, documentation, and delivery commitments.
• Handle all import/export procedures, including invoicing, certificates of origin, letters of credit, and shipment tracking.
• Interact daily with the distribution center and supply chain teams to align inventory with order fulfillment.
• Respond to order status inquiries and resolve inaccuracies with business units.

Required profile

• Technical studies in Foreign Trade or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing or import coordination role.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
