Quantitative Analyst – Remote (Chile)

About the role

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to support our research team in Chile. The role sits at the intersection of quantitative research, data engineering and analytical problem‑solving, working in a fast‑paced, highly technical environment. You will help ensure high‑quality datasets, build internal tools and improve research workflows while collaborating closely with researchers and engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Discover, validate, clean and maintain datasets used in research and production environments.
• Monitor production systems, analyse logs and investigate data or system inconsistencies.
• Support ad‑hoc research requests and perform exploratory data analysis.
• Design and build internal tools, scripts and automation utilities using Python.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and engineers to improve research infrastructure and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Highly analytical and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving curiosity.
• Comfortable working with large and complex datasets.
• Willingness to dive deep into technical systems and workflows.
• Background in STEM fields such as Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python with clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with Pandas for data manipulation.
• Experience with NumPy for numerical analysis.
