Sales Executive (Merchant Services)

About the role

The Sales Executive will promote merchant services solutions to businesses, handling the full sales cycle from prospecting to activation. This role combines field visits with phone outreach to build a robust client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts with an annual net revenue target of $200,000 or more.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through face‑to‑face meetings, phone calls, and marketing programs.
• Deliver product presentations, respond to information requests, and close sales.
• Oversee account sign‑up, activation, and ongoing relationship management.
• Maintain accurate client records and activity logs in Salesforce.com.
• Prepare regular reports for management and stay updated on payment industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, including cold calling.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce.com (CRM).
• Knowledge of the merchant payment industry.
