Senior Brand Director – LATAM

About the role

The Senior Brand Director will lead the Merrell brand across Latin America, shaping and executing the regional strategy to grow the distributor‑led business. This senior position is responsible for aligning global brand priorities with local market dynamics and driving both short‑term and long‑term growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Merrell’s global mission, values and strategic priorities into a commercially viable LATAM plan.
• Develop the regional Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and ensure alignment with international and global brand strategies.
• Lead distributors in creating strategic plans, setting KPIs, and conducting regular business reviews.
• Execute the LATAM Go‑To‑Market strategy to achieve sales, market share, distribution and profitability targets.
• Negotiate distributor contracts, plan seasonal GTM activities, and define product, assortment and merchandising strategies.
• Partner with regional marketing teams to deliver localized campaigns, storytelling and brand activations.
• Monitor distributor performance against KPIs and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior brand leadership experience in consumer‑goods or footwear markets.
• Deep understanding of the Latin American market and distributor ecosystems.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth and profitability.
• Ability to translate global strategies into locally relevant execution plans.
