Sr Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead capacity and resource allocation for our Managed Services squads. The role supports a hybrid/remote model and works closely with client‑facing teams to ensure delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Track capacity, utilisation, and workload balance across squads, providing forward‑looking forecasts.
• Monitor hours consumption against retainer allocations, flagging discrepancies early.
• Identify delivery risks such as timeline slippage, bottlenecks, scope creep, and coordinate mitigation with squad and tech leads.
• Manage squad delivery processes: maintain backlogs, track sprint progress, and coordinate ceremonies (planning, retrospectives, demos).
• Partner with the London‑based Senior PM for seamless handoff between client commitments and internal capacity.
• Support operational reporting for the Director of Managed Services, including utilisation metrics and team health signals.
• Maintain documentation hygiene in tools like Jira, Notion, and Tempo.
• Contribute to process improvement and coordinate onboarding logistics for new clients or squad members.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in project, delivery, or operations management within a digital agency, consultancy, or software delivery environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with strong attention to detail.
• Hands‑on experience in resource or capacity management and operational reporting.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience running sprint ceremonies.
