Accounting Supervisor – Lead Accounting Operations

About the role

Our multinational client is seeking a seasoned Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting function for its Chilean operations based in Santiago. The role will ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards while delivering accurate, timely financial reports to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities and coordinate external accounting teams.
• Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, regulations and internal controls.
• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage financial consolidation and intercompany transactions across the group.
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis to aid business decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of experience leading accounting processes in a multinational environment.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP ERP.
• Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and analytics.
