Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Android Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. You will build, optimise and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, delivering smooth experiences for users while collaborating closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑performance native Android apps with Kotlin.
• Implement responsive UI following Material Design, using Jetpack Compose or XML layouts.
• Integrate apps with backend micro‑services via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; conduct code reviews.
• Create unit and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso) to ensure stability.
• Analyse performance metrics to improve speed, battery usage and memory.
• Support release cycles and publish updates to Google Play Store.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in native Android development.
• Strong proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and use collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
