Android Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Android Software Engineer to join our mobile engineering team. You will build, optimize and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, delivering seamless experiences for users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance native Android apps with Kotlin.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive interfaces following Material Design.
• Integrate with backend micro‑services and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and conduct code reviews.
• Develop unit and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso) to ensure stability.
• Profile and optimise app performance, battery usage and memory consumption.
• Assist in preparing releases and publishing updates to Google Play Store.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in native Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android SDK.
• Experience with modern Android architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate using Jira and Confluence.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
