Assembly Supervisor

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Assembly Supervisor to lead the assembly of programmed doors at its Mexico facility (AHMQ). You will ensure that production meets the highest standards of safety, quality, delivery and cost while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the assembly of doors, guaranteeing full compliance with Airbus standards and business objectives.
• Maintain safety, quality, delivery and cost performance in a self‑sustaining manner.
• Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma practices on the shop floor.
• Coordinate product and production transfers to new locations, overseeing scale‑up and stabilization.
• Utilise SAP for production planning, tracking and reporting.

Required profile

• Engineering background with 2‑4 years of experience leading and managing assembly production lines.
• Proven ability to drive Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Experience in transferring products and production to new sites, including ramp‑up and stabilization phases.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
