About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support multiple clients by handling their bookkeeping, payroll, and tax obligations. The role requires a solid background in accounting and the ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting records for several companies simultaneously.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations directly to the DGIL.
• Process payroll, withholdings, and social security contributions.
• Generate financial reports using Excel and accounting software.
• Maintain organized documentation and follow written policies under supervisor review.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a technical accounting qualification with proven experience.
• Experience handling more than one client or company at the same time.
• Direct experience preparing DGIL tax filings.
• Availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with a one‑hour lunch break.
• Residence in Santiago.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables).
• Proficiency with an accounting software package.
• Payroll processing and tax filing knowledge.

What we offer

• Monthly salary between RD$ 25,000 and RD$ 30,000, based on experience.
