Biology Expert – AI Trainer (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a Biology expert to help create high‑quality, deterministic training data for cutting‑edge AI models that tackle scientific problems. The work is fully remote, part‑time (20 hours per week) on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced biology problems that have a single verifiable answer.
• Develop deterministic tasks covering molecular biology, genetics, systems biology, computational biology or bioinformatics.
• Provide complete, verified solutions and ensure reproducibility.
• Use Python and, when appropriate, specialised bioinformatics or computational biology tools.
• Maintain rigorous technical documentation and clear English explanations.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology or a related life‑science discipline.
• Research or industry experience with computational or quantitative biological analysis.
• Strong reasoning ability and comfort with multi‑step scientific problem solving.
• Excellent written English and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Data analysis and bioinformatics workflows.
• Experience with bioinformatics toolkits, genomics pipelines, structural biology tools or computational biology methods.

What we offer

• Compensation up to $40 USD per hour.
• 20 hours per week, contract for 2 months with possible extension.
