Business Development Representative – Remote Program Partnerships

About the role

The Intern Group is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive growth for its Remote Program Partnerships. Working remotely across the Americas and Europe, you will connect universities with the company’s remote internship solutions, helping academic leaders meet strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Research and prioritize high‑potential universities in assigned regions.
• Craft personalized, multi‑channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to Deans, Program Directors, and Department Heads.
• Conduct discovery calls to uncover institutional pain points and document the Pain, Project, and Champion for each account.
• Maintain a meticulous CRM, brief Account Executives before hand‑offs, and monitor procurement portals such as SAM.gov and TED.
• Build and own a high‑impact pipeline of pilot opportunities that feed revenue growth.

Required profile

• Strong research and analytical abilities to map university ecosystems.
• Excellent communication skills with a consultative sales approach.
• Detail‑oriented mindset for accurate CRM management and hand‑off preparation.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
