Clinical Nurse Specialist – Multiple Sclerosis (Band 6)

About the role

The NHS Fife Neurology service is seeking a motivated Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Multiple Sclerosis specialist nursing team. You will provide expert support and advice to patients and families living with MS, working within a forward‑thinking, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, patient‑centred care to individuals with Multiple Sclerosis.
• Provide professional advice and expertise to colleagues across acute inpatient settings, community hospitals, and community teams.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and service‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safe, effective care that enhances the patient experience and aligns with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in specialist nursing care, preferably within neurology or MS.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to effective team dynamics.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care, service improvement, and continuous professional development.
• Willingness to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and meet UK right‑to‑work requirements.
