Clinical Nurse Specialist – Multiple Sclerosis

About the role

The NHS Fife Neurology service is seeking a motivated Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Multiple Sclerosis specialist nursing team. You will provide expert support and advice to patients and families living with MS, working within a forward‑thinking, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, patient‑centred care to individuals with Multiple Sclerosis.
• Provide professional advice and expertise to colleagues across acute inpatient settings, community hospitals, and community teams.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
• Work autonomously while supporting effective team collaboration.
• Ensure safe, effective care that enhances the patient experience and aligns with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic nurse with experience in specialist MS care.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and make clinical decisions.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care, service improvement, and teamwork.
• Willingness to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
