Co-Teacher Basic Primary

About the role

We are seeking a co‑teacher for our Basic Primary programme at International Schools' British Royal School. The role involves planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate lessons while fostering an inclusive, safe learning environment for all students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to address different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess, record and report on student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Develop and maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for the relevant region.
• Previous experience teaching elementary‑aged children (1–3 years or more).
• Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and learning abilities.
• Familiarity with curriculum and educational standards relevant to the school.
