Construction Superintendent

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead subcontractor planning, safety, quality and technical activities on a complex mining and metals project. The role involves on‑site supervision to ensure work aligns with overall schedules and is executed safely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and organize subcontractor activities, including construction schedules, resource charts, and material/equipment requirements.
• Review subcontractor construction methods, manning charts and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and vendor requirements.
• Coordinate construction impacts on external interfaces to maintain alignment with overall project schedules.
• Enforce field construction policies, procedures and work rules.
• Support field engineers, foremen and craft professionals in interpreting engineering and vendor documents.

Required profile

• Experience managing subcontractor activities on medium to high‑complexity construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, resource planning and safety standards.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and coordinate on‑site operations.
