Controller – Remote (LATAM) for High‑Growth US Company

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Controller to own the accounting function of a high‑growth US company while working remotely from LATAM. This senior accounting position will be responsible for the integrity of financial statements, the monthly/quarterly/annual close, and the overall control environment, reporting directly to the CEO and finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements under US GAAP.
• Own consolidation across multiple entities, including intercompany eliminations and foreign‑currency translation.
• Establish and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and SOPs to support a scalable finance function.
• Manage the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and preparing required documentation.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting and expense processing, maintaining balance‑sheet integrity and cash reporting.
• Partner with FP&A and department heads to deliver reporting packages, KPIs and variance analysis.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct ownership of the close and financial statements.
• Strong command of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 leases.
• Experience leading audits, multi‑entity consolidations and ERP implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
