Demand & Supply Planning Supervisor

About the role

The Demand & Supply Planning Supervisor will lead the execution of monthly S&OP and Integrated Business Planning processes, ensuring accurate forecasts, inventory health, and alignment across functions. This position supports the talent team’s commitment to innovation, inclusion, and performance within a global medical‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Place purchase orders to plants, update planning parameters (safety stock, lead times, MBQ) and manage supply change requests.
• Develop and maintain coverage policies using ABC classification, supply risk, and lead‑time analysis; propose inventory rebalancing across Latin America.
• Monitor excess and obsolescence, drive corrective actions, and control CAPEX investments.
• Lead the S&OP cycle by providing demand and supply plans, inventory projections, and mitigation strategies for supply risks.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and manufacturing teams on product phase‑in/phase‑out and critical item management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in demand and supply planning, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience creating reports and dashboards.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• SAP/ERP/APO platforms.
• Power BI for data visualization.
• Alteryx for data preparation and analytics.
