DevOps Engineer – AWS Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer at Crewfare, you will design, deploy and maintain AWS‑based infrastructure supporting multiple travel‑tech products. You’ll focus on automation, performance, scalability, security and cost efficiency while collaborating with development, product and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: design, deploy and manage highly available, scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Automation & CI/CD: develop and maintain pipelines to streamline deployments and minimise downtime.
• Cost Optimization: continuously analyse resource usage and implement cost‑saving measures without sacrificing performance.
• Monitoring & Incident Management: set up monitoring, detect anomalies, lead incident response and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Security Management: handle patch management, vulnerability scanning and enforce security best practices for compliance.
• Collaboration: work closely with development, QA and security teams to streamline workflows and operational processes.
• Scaling: architect solutions that dynamically scale based on demand, ensuring high availability.
• Performance Tuning: monitor system health, analyse performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Documentation: document infrastructure, processes and procedures for internal knowledge sharing and ISO/SOC2 compliance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a related role.
• Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC) with hands‑on experience designing and scaling cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in automation/scripting languages like Python, Bash or Ansible.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with monitoring solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
