Executive – Account Payable

About the role

The Executive, Account Payable will oversee a broad range of finance functions within a hospital environment, including taxation, cash management, material management, and accounts payable. The role ensures compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and accreditation standards while supporting efficient financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly and yearly tax and deferred tax computations and assist in preparing the annual Taxation Information Package.
• Reconcile cash, cheque, and bank transactions, identify discrepancies, and prepare monthly cash flow statements.
• Manage REIT dividend receivables and support quarterly stock‑take activities as an auditor.
• Verify key‑in and payment listings before submission to Centralised Payment Services.
• Implement and monitor KPI’s, corporate initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents, suppliers, and other external parties.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and MSQH Hospital Accreditation standards.

• Tax computation and deferred tax calculation
• Cash and bank reconciliation
• General ledger management (HITS2)
• MPOS transaction verification
• Preparation of cash flow statements
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards
• Familiarity with MSQH Hospital Accreditation requirements
