Executive Chef - Airline Catering

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a major global airline catering account. Based in Santiago, you will shape premium onboard menus, ensure brand consistency, and drive quality across multiple international catering sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global culinary strategy and menu portfolio.
• Incorporate consumer insights, market trends, and guest feedback into menu innovation.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance across all catering locations.
• Conduct audits, tastings, and training sessions at international units.
• Represent the brand at events, client meetings, and as a culinary ambassador.
• Oversee supplier quality, ingredient sourcing, and cost optimisation.
• Mentor and train kitchen teams worldwide.
• Monitor performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in premium or high‑volume environments.
• International experience in multi‑outlet luxury hotels, resorts or similar operations.
• Proven track record in menu development and global cuisine trends.
• Strong leadership and team‑training capabilities.
• Commercially minded, data‑driven, and comfortable with travel.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
