Field Services Engineer – Solar Systems

About the role

We are seeking a Field Services Engineer specialized in solar and battery energy storage systems to support project execution, commissioning and post‑sales activities for our clients in Santiago, Chile.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in BESS and Solar PV project execution, commissioning and post‑sales support.
• Manage Service Request (SR) tickets according to client needs.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver tasks and projects in line with established policies.
• Oversee the full project scope, including installation supervision, cold and hot commissioning, integration, troubleshooting and acceptance.
• Conduct site audits for BESS/solar plant locations and prepare audit and commissioning reports.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.

Required profile

• Intermediate‑advanced English proficiency (essential).
• Degree in Electromechanics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience with design and power generation knowledge.
• Project and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Experience using Microsoft Project for task management.
