Financial Controller

About the role

Weir Software Solutions is looking for a Financial Controller to join the Motion Metrics team in Santiago, Chile. The role will support Motion Metrics Chile and LATAM, partnering with the Regional Sales Director to drive commercial, financial and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner to the Regional Sales Director and regional leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance tracking of SaaS KPIs such as ARR and churn.
• Ensure statutory, regulatory and tax compliance for Chile, including SII invoicing and filings.
• Support month‑end close in coordination with ESCO and SWS finance teams.
• Partner with Sales and Operations on the end‑to‑end lead‑to‑cash process, including IFRS‑compliant revenue recognition, billing, collections and AR issue resolution.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives across finance operations.
• Assist with the ERP transition from Oracle to NetSuite in 2026 and future expansion across the SWS portfolio.

Required profile

• Strong finance background with experience in FP&A, budgeting and month‑end close.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with commercial teams and influence decision‑making.
• Knowledge of Chilean tax and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing SaaS‑focused financial metrics.

Required skills

• Oracle ERP (experience with migration to NetSuite is a plus).
• NetSuite ERP.
• IFRS revenue recognition.
• Understanding of SaaS financial KPIs (ARR, churn).
