Freelance Biology & Python Expert for AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Biology & Python expert to design and validate computational biology problems that will be used to test and improve AI systems. The work is project‑based, remote, and focuses on creating realistic, data‑driven challenges for AI trainers.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational biology problems that simulate real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy and BioPython.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Develop challenges that require non‑trivial reasoning chains in bioinformatics, systems biology, and molecular modeling.
• Base problems on real research challenges or practical applications from biology practice.
• Verify solutions with Python code and provide clear documentation and correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Biology or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in research, applied work, or teaching.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
