Full Stack Developer

About the role

Join Acelerex and help shape sustainable energy solutions by designing and enhancing our Analytics platform. You will work on optimization algorithms and scientific software that support renewable energy and storage projects, performance prediction, and network expansion planning.

Key responsibilities

• Translate mathematical models (Linear Programming/MILP) and electrical engineering constraints into code for simulation engines.
• Develop and refine logic for economic dispatch and unit commitment to model real‑world renewable and storage asset behavior.
• Perform full‑stack engineering tasks: coordinate frontend and backend data, build interactive charts and system diagrams, ensure application security.
• Optimize performance to handle large datasets and computationally intensive nodal pricing and network modeling.

Required profile

• Resilient, proactive, and able to develop and experiment quickly.
• Comfortable communicating in English.
• 1‑4 years of programming experience in mathematical modeling, web development, or data science.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field (or equivalent qualifications).

Required skills

• JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Python.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., Vue.js, React).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Experience using a backend web framework.
