Full Stack Developer (Shopify/Hydrogen)

About the role

We are a US‑based e‑commerce retailer looking for a pragmatic Full Stack Developer to build and maintain custom headless storefronts using Shopify Hydrogen. The role is fully remote for candidates in LATAM and works on East Coast hours.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify Hydrogen storefronts with React Router, implementing complex commerce features and headless integrations.
• Create responsive UI components using HTML, CSS and modern React, and ensure frontend performance.
• Migrate legacy frontends (Shopify Liquid and Django‑based) to Hydrogen while preserving data integrity.
• Extend Python/Django code that powers GraphQL API integrations between Shopify and internal ERP/PIM/CRM systems.
• Build custom middleware and API integrations for features that standard Shopify does not support, such as feed syndication and Algolia re‑indexing.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, configure environments and automate releases to Oxygen or similar edge platforms.
• Translate ambiguous business requests into technical solutions and know when to involve senior architecture discussions.

Required profile

• Strong frontend expertise with HTML, CSS and modern React.
• Hands‑on experience with Shopify Hydrogen, React Router and the Storefront API.
• Proficiency in Python and Django for backend integration work.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate technical constraints to non‑technical stakeholders.
