Full Stack Software Engineer (Mid)

About the role

Xe is rebuilding the platform that powers cross‑border payments for corporate and consumer clients. We are looking for a mid‑level full‑stack engineer who can own features from API design through frontend experience, backend services, and production reliability. You will work closely with product, design, and compliance teams to ship money‑moving functionality at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship full‑stack features that handle onboarding, KYC/KYB, payment initiation, FX, settlement and related services.
• Build and maintain customer‑facing interfaces and the backend services that power them.
• Own the reliability, observability, on‑call rotation and incident response for your services.
• Collaborate with product, design and compliance from problem definition to launch.
• Use AI‑assisted coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) daily for prototyping, refactoring, testing and documentation.
• Help modernize legacy components by migrating them to the new stack alongside architects and team leads.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience building production web applications end‑to‑end.
• Strong frontend experience with Vue.js, React or similar frameworks.
• Solid backend experience, preferably with C#/.NET; Java, Kotlin or Go are also acceptable.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience deploying and operating services on AWS (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda).
• Daily use of AI‑assisted coding tools across the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
