iOS Software Engineer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a creative iOS Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of native iOS applications. You will work with product managers, designers, backend developers, and fellow engineers to turn concepts into polished apps released on the Apple App Store.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift.
• Collaborate with product designers to deliver pixel‑perfect, responsive UI that follows Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Integrate apps with backend services via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Write clean, modular code, participate in code reviews, and ensure high code quality.
• Develop unit and UI tests with XCTest and monitor performance, memory, and battery usage using Instruments.
• Support the release lifecycle, including build preparation and App Store submission.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in native iOS development.
• Proficiency in Swift and solid knowledge of the iOS SDK and Xcode.
• Understanding of modern iOS architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture, Combine, or Swift Concurrency.
• Familiarity with SwiftUI (preferred) or UIKit (Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs).
• Experience with Git and collaborative repositories.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and manage tasks with tools like Jira.
• English level B1+ for effective communication.
