About the role
We are looking for a proactive Key Account Manager – Distribution to lead long‑term planning and relationship management with our strategic distribution partners. In this role you will influence national sales growth by shaping strategies, providing market insights and ensuring strong collaboration across functions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and own the execution of sales strategies for high‑value distributor accounts using a consultative approach.
- Create and maintain strategic account plans, schedule high‑impact visits and ensure comprehensive market coverage.
- Lead product training sessions and demonstrations to boost brand awareness and sales performance.
- Manage relationships with direct distributors and dealers, aligning on sales targets, inventory planning and promotional activities.
- Analyze CRM data daily to track customer targets, category goals and financial metrics.
- Research industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and feed insights to product marketing and sales leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, service, finance, customer service) to drive cross‑functional initiatives and promote a “One Team” mindset.
Required profile
- Proven experience in key account or strategic account management within distribution or industrial sales.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market data into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to customer sites and attend trade events as needed.
