About the role
Clorox is seeking a results‑driven Key Account Manager to lead relationships with strategic customers in the Modern Trade channel. You will be responsible for delivering sales growth, ensuring in‑store execution excellence, and managing the profitability of key accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end management of key customers, achieving volume, value, and KPI targets (NCS, RR, MS, etc.).
- Develop and execute Customer Business Plans aligned with Clorox’s commercial strategy.
- Manage trade spending budgets to maximize ROI.
- Drive in‑store execution using the AMPS model (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing, Shelving).
- Own P&L for each account, monitoring mix, DSO, payment terms, and bad debt.
- Analyze market and customer data to identify opportunities, propose improvements, and mitigate risks.
- Lead, coach, and develop the assigned team to foster a high‑performance culture.
- Build long‑term commercial relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in CPG, managing Modern Trade accounts such as Walmart and Cencosud.
- Proven track record of meeting commercial targets.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, trade spend management and NRM fundamentals.
- Intermediate English proficiency, both written and verbal.
